We breed for exceptional quality and ensure we always maintain the highest possible standards of all disciplines.
All our females have incredible temperaments, health and training abilities making them perfect for any home. Although our dogs are working dogs they are part of our family so temperament is extremely important to us.
We've had puppies go on to gundog, trailing, police, security, sport and pet homes showing the versatility which we breed.
FEEDBACK
There is something special about Wiremoor. Emily knows the breeds she has phenomenally well - their attributes, strengths and qualities. Those core breeds are different and she gets things right across that variety.
She then understands each of her own dogs in those breeds - both through working with them and through caring about each of those relationships right. As a consequence she has a sixth sense for any mating. And she more often than not gets it spot on.
When I asked around there was a consistent theme - “she’s very good at breeding - she has such an instinct for it and she cares so much about getting it right.” And she fills in the gaps. She’s not scared of bringing in new bloodlines and adding to her kennels to ensure her own bloodlines have variety and consistent improvement.
They say never work with animals - for someone to have succeeded working with animals in two contrasting environments it tells you the skill and passion they have for what they do. That’s Emily.
And then she’s incredibly personable, funny, down to earth and simply a joy to deal with.
If you don’t get a puppy directly from a Wiremoor litter then look out for a litter sired by a Wiremoor dog. You will not be disappointed and I suspect you will, like I hope to be, become a repeat customer.

I had been looking for another B/ W GWP for two years owing to the retirement of my aging boy, the planned mating at Wiremoor Gundogs had everything I had been looking for Wiremoor Grouse Lad 'Radar' has proven to be the perfect addition to our home, he is very, very intelligent he is keen and willing to learn and has such a lovely temperament around other dogs both in the house and out meeting others.
At only five months old he is already very exciting he has fantastic natural ability is bold and has shown skills beyond his age, already working well to the whistle commands and delivering to hand quietly.
He has a perfect full black head which was exactly what i desired and has a great beard with a nice tight low maintenance wiry coat.He is a credit to the breeder, and I would definitely recommend Wiremoor Gundogs to anyone looking for a well-bred balanced working dog.
